How to make ur Gtalk invisible from others ?

•     We all miss this great awaited feature of how to set invisible status in Gtalk.

•     Well we have an option in Yahoo messenger to make our account INVISIBLE from the other users or the friends, but we find it difficult to make our Gtalk account invisible 4m other...

         

Here are 2 different solutions to make Gtalk invisible 4m others..

Solution 1 : USING GMAIL ACCOUNT

If you use google chat via gmail mail interface you can set your status as invisible as shown in the image.

  But the problem here is that, inorder to make it invisible intially we need to sign out from the Gtalk and login through the gmail chat interface in the left sidebar of ur gmail account, other wise you will find this error.

Solution 2 : USING GTALK LABS EDITION

Inorder to make our gtalk invisible 4m other we need to install and use a different version of gtalk which is called  Gtalk labs edition.

Download Google Talk Labs Edition and get:

    (emoticons, group chat, and more!)
  • New desktop notifications for the services like
  • Gmail
  • Orkut
  • Calendar ( with a new snooze option !)
